Restaurant Terms and Conditions
1. BOOKING
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Bookings can be made online on our website or by calling the business on 01539532239. When making the booking online you will need to enter your card details to secure your booking. Your card will not be charged for deposit purposes.
When making the booking over the phone our staff will ask for your name and contact number. They may also ask for your email address if your party is bigger than 4 persons. You will receive a confirmation email from our automated Avenista system to confirm your booking. There will also be a link in the email for you to follow and enter your card details for security. Your booking will not be confirmed until a payment card has been pre authorised.
Whether booking online or booking over the phone, the card details that you enter are stored securely by STRIPE. Please visit their website for their Terms and Conditions. We don't take any money from your card for deposit purposes but a pre-authorisation will be made, which may show up on your account for a short time.
Bookings can be made in our bar area, family dining room or adult dining room. We ask that you ensure you book into the correct area to suit your party. We reserve the right to refure service if you have booked into the wrong area.
We welcome dogs in our BAR AREA ONLY.
Parties with any children aged 11 or under must reserve a table in the family dining room, or bar area if you are also bringing a dog.
Parties of adults and teens can book into the adult dining area. Children must be aged 12+.
When booking online, please ensure that you read your confirmation email and have your confirmation number ready on arrival for your booking. If you do not receive the confirmation email then your reservation has not been made.
Parties of 9 or more must be made by calling 015395 32239.
2. CANCELLATIONS
Due to the nature of our business, we operate a strict cancellation/no show policy. When making your booking, the email confirmation that you receive will have a link to cancel or make changes to your booking. We ask that you provide us with at least 4 hours notice if you wish to cancel your booking. Cancellations after this time may result in a charge of £10 per person from the preauthorised card.
3. NO-SHOWS
If you fail to attend your booking without at least 4 hours notice we reserve the right to charge a fee of £10 per person from the pre-authorised card and we may refuse future bookings.
5. TIMINGS
We may require your table(s) back after a set period of time. Tables of 2 persons will have an allocated time of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Tables of 3+ persons will have an allocated time of 1 hour 45 minutes. If you require longer, please don't hesitate to call us direct on 015395 32239 and our staff will be happy to help where possible.
6. ALLERGIES
Customers must inform us of any allergies/dietary requirements at the time of booking and ordering. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment. All 14 of the major allergens are used on our premises; celery; cereals containing gluten; crustaceans; eggs; fish; lupin; milk; molluscs; mustard; peanuts; sesame; soybeans; sulphur dioxide (sulphites); and tree nuts. We have an extensive allergen menu available for customers to identify any allergens contained within the menu items but please note that the risk of cross contamination cannot be completely eliminated. We rely on our suppliers for accurate allergen information and cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies provided to us. Please see our Allergen advice and disclaimer for more details.
7. BEHAVIOUR
We withstand a zero-tolerance harassment policy within our business. We reserve the right to refuse service where behaviour is abusive, unsafe or inappropriate. We ask that our staff our treated with respect. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated.
8. DOGS
Well behaved dogs are welcome in our bar area only. Dogs must be kept on a lead and with the owner at all times. Please keep your dogs from jumping up or sitting on our furniture, doggy blankets are provided. Dogs must not be fed from our crockery.
9. OPENING TIMES
Business hours are between 9am - 11pm.
Breakfast is available to book between 9am-11am. Main menu and specials available 12pm-9pm. Fixed price lunch menu is served weekdays 12pm-3pm (excluding bank holidays). Last orders for drinks is 10:15pm.

All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Accomodation Terms and Conditions
1. BOOKING
Accommodation bookings can be made over the phone or online through our website or with a third party agent such as booking.com/expedia.co.uk. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
2. AMENITIES
We have 6 ensuite guest bedrooms.

All rooms are fitted with ensuite facilities including walk in power showers. Flat screen televisions, WiFi, fridge with fresh milk & water, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.
Our rooms are accessible by stairs only. Breakfast is included in our room rates. Room only rates are available to book by calling 01539532239.
3. DEPOSITS
3.1 Online direct website bookings - require a 10% non-refundable deposit
3.2 Booking.com - No deposit required but full payment is payable 7 days before arrival. See Booking.com for full Terms and Conditions.
3.3 Telephone bookings - 1 Night stays require full payment. 2 Nights+ requires deposit payment of 50%. 10% of the total booking amount is non-refundable.
4. CHECK IN
Check in at our bar area with staff between 3pm - 10pm.
5. BREAKFAST
Breakfast is included in our standard room rates. Breakfast is served in our bar area and family dining room between 9am-11am. Continental breakfasts are available upon request for guests to enjoy in their room.
6. AMMENDMENTS
Bookings can be amended free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival date. Amendments cannot be made 7 days or less before arrival. See 7. Cancellation.
7. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations made 7 days before arrival time will not be charged.
7.1 Online bookings - If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
7.2 Telephone bookings - If a booking is cancelled less than 7 days before then the total deposit amount will be non-refundable.
8. NO-SHOWS OR BOOKING REDUCTION
In the event of a no-show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

10. PETS
We welcome well behaved dogs into our DELUXE TWIN ROOM & STANDARD KING ROOM. Reservations with dogs are subject to a £10 per dog, per night fee, which is payable on arrival. We ask that you let us know prior to your stay that you are bringing a dog(s) so that staff are aware. Dog(s) must not be left in the room unattended and must be kept on a lead when on the business premises. Dogs are welcome in our bar area.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. PURCHASES
Gift vouchers can be purchased at the Pheasant Inn by card or cash payment. Gift card purchases in house will receive physical voucher cards.
Gift vouchers can also be purchased online through our website via card payment. Gift vouchers purchased online will be sent to the recipients email address. Please ensure that the recipient checks in their 'junk' folder if the email doesn't appear in their inbox.
2. REFUNDS
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
3. REDEEMING
4.1 Online vouchers - can be redeemed in our bar, restaurant and towards accommodation payments. Voucher code is required to redeem.
4.2 Vouchers bought in-house - Physical voucher is required to redeem. Vouchers can be redeemed in our bar, restaurant or towards accommodation payment.
4. REMAINING BALANCE
Full amount needs to be redeemed, change is not given.
5. LOST/STOLEN GIFT VOUCHERS
We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.
Public WiFi Terms of Use
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing our WiFi network (Pheasant Public), you Agree to comply with these Terms of Use.
2. ACEPTABLE USE
You must not use the WiFi service to:
- Access, download, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
- Engage in illegal activities
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or networks
- Transmit viruses or malicious software
3. SECURITY
Our WiFi is a public network and may not be secure.
You use the service at your own risk. We recommend that you:
- Avoid accessing sensitive information
- Use secure websites (HTTPS)
4. MONITORING
We reserve the right to monitor network usage where necessary to:
- Maintain network security
- Prevent misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
5. AVAILABILITY
We do not guarantee that the WiFi service will be:
- Uninterrupted
- Secure
- Error-free
6. LIABILITY
We are not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Damage to devices
- Security breaches
- Any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the WiFi
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused my negligence.
7. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the WiFi network at any time.
